Family Vault is a secure digital vault and emergency preparedness application. It allows you to store, organize, and manage critical documents, digital assets, and information, and permits you to designate trusted individuals ("Nominees") to access this information under specific, predefined conditions.
2. User Eligibility & Accounts

- check_circleYou are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials (including passwords and biometric access).
- check_circleYou agree not to share your account access with anyone other than through the official Nominee designation features provided within the Service.
- check_circleAny activity that occurs under your account is your sole responsibility.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Family Vault to:
- remove_circleStore or transmit material that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
- remove_circleAttempt to breach the security or authentication measures of the Service.
- remove_circleUpload viruses, malware, or any malicious code.
- remove_circleUse the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Family Vault reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice.
4. Nominee System and Emergency Access
A core feature of Family Vault is the ability to grant designated Nominees access to your stored data in the event of an emergency or inactivity.

- chevron_rightFamily Vault is not liable for data released to Nominees based on the instructions and triggers you have configured.
5. Data Ownership and Licensing
You retain full ownership of all documents, photos, and information ("User Content") you upload to the Service. By uploading User Content, you grant Family Vault a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license solely to host, store, and process this content in order to securely provide the Service to you and your designated Nominees.
6. Security and Encryption
Family Vault employs industry-standard security measures, including data encryption. However, no digital platform can guarantee 100% security. You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk. Family Vault is not liable for data breaches or data loss resulting from unauthorized access to your devices or compromised login credentials.
7. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification or discontinuation.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAMILY VAULT AND ITS CREATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, INCURRED BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICE.
9. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms occasionally. Your continued use of the Service after changes are implemented constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
